If your trying to launch software which requires the .NET Framework then you may receive this message. If this does appear then choose the option “install this feature” which will immediately install the right version for you and save you time installing it manually.



Alternative: Enable .NET Framework 3.5 on the Control Panel

In some cases you may already have the framework on your computer but for some reason it is not enabled. You can enable .NET Framework 3.5 through the Windows Control Panel. This option does not require an Internet connection.

Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, search for “Windows Features” and press Enter. The Enable or disable Windows features dialog box will appear like so.

Check the .NET Framework 3.5 check box (including .NET 2.0 and 3.0), select OK and restart the computer if prompted.




That’s it you should now have the .NET framework successfully installed on your computer allowing you to run the software you require.
