Whether we publish technical articles, industry research, white papers, case studies, or original investigations, we expect contributors, reviewers, and editors to adhere to clear ethical principles that protect the quality and credibility of our content.

Conflict of Interest Policy

Requirements for Authors

Authors are responsible for disclosing any relationships, affiliations, financial interests, or other circumstances that could reasonably be perceived as influencing the content of their work. The lead or corresponding author should provide these disclosures on behalf of all contributors at the time of submission.

Potential conflicts may include, but are not limited to:

• Employment or consultancy arrangements
• Ownership of shares or equity interests
• Paid advisory positions
• Commercial partnerships
• Funding received from organizations connected to the research
• Personal or professional relationships that may influence objectivity

Where confidentiality agreements prevent full disclosure, authors should notify our editorial team. If appropriate, AGR Technology may allow a general statement acknowledging that certain commercial interests cannot be disclosed due to contractual obligations.

Disclosure does not automatically prevent publication. Instead, it allows readers to understand the context in which the work was produced.

Reviewer Independence

Peer reviewers play a critical role in maintaining the quality of published content. Reviewers should decline invitations where they believe they cannot provide an impartial assessment.

Examples include:

• Financial interests connected to the work
• Close professional or personal relationships with the authors
• Direct involvement in competing research
• Employment within the same organization where impartiality could reasonably be questioned

Where a potential conflict exists, reviewers should inform the editorial team, who will determine whether reassignment is appropriate.

Editorial Independence

AGR Technology maintains editorial independence. Editorial decisions are based solely on the quality, originality, technical accuracy, relevance, and value of submitted content.

Editors must disclose any interests that could influence—or appear to influence—their editorial judgement. Where a conflict exists, responsibility for the submission will be transferred to another editor.

Editorial board members are welcome to submit their own work; however, these submissions undergo exactly the same independent review process as any other manuscript and receive no preferential treatment.

Research Data & Supporting Materials

Transparency is an essential component of credible research. Authors should retain and, where appropriate, share the data, methodologies, software, code, images, or other supporting materials necessary to validate the conclusions presented.

Where possible, datasets should be made available through recognized public repositories or included as supplementary material alongside the publication.

Authors should ensure that any shared material:

• Supports the findings presented
• Can reasonably be used to verify or reproduce the results
• Does not breach privacy, confidentiality, contractual obligations, or applicable legislation

Where legal, ethical, or commercial restrictions prevent public release, these limitations should be clearly explained within the publication.

Data Availability Statement

Original research submissions should include a dedicated Data Availability section outlining how supporting information can be accessed.

Depending on the nature of the work, this statement may indicate that:

• Data is publicly available through an online repository.
• Supporting information is included within the publication or supplementary files.
• Data can be provided upon reasonable request.
• Certain datasets cannot be publicly released due to privacy, legal, licensing, or commercial restrictions.
• No original datasets were generated during the project.

Where publicly accessible repositories are used, authors should provide permanent links, accession numbers, DOIs, or other identifiers wherever available.

Sharing Research Data

AGR Technology encourages open and responsible sharing of research data whenever practical.

Large datasets are best hosted within recognized research repositories that provide long-term preservation, version control, and stable citations. Where repositories support confidential peer review access before publication, authors are encouraged to use these features where appropriate.

If no suitable repository exists, supplementary files may be submitted alongside the manuscript where technically feasible.

Reproducibility

Published findings should be supported by sufficient documentation to enable qualified researchers or industry professionals to understand, evaluate, and where appropriate, reproduce the methodology.

This may include:

• Source datasets
• Technical documentation
• Experimental procedures
• Software code
• Algorithms
• Configuration files
• Statistical methods
• Analytical workflows

AGR Technology reserves the right to request additional supporting information during editorial review.

Post-Publication Access

Following publication, readers may request access to supporting materials where this has been indicated within the publication.

If authors fail to honor reasonable commitments regarding data availability without legitimate justification, AGR Technology may investigate the matter and, where appropriate, publish corrections, editorial notices, or other updates to preserve the integrity of the published record.

Recommended Data Repositories

Authors are encouraged to deposit datasets within reputable public repositories that provide long-term preservation and permanent identifiers.

Community-specific repositories should generally be used where available. Where no specialist repository exists, trusted general-purpose repositories may be appropriate.

Examples of Data Availability Statements

Authors may adapt statements such as:

• “The datasets supporting this publication are available in a publicly accessible repository.”
• “All supporting data are included within this publication and its supplementary files.”
• “Supporting data may be obtained from the corresponding author upon reasonable request.”
• “Certain datasets cannot be publicly released due to confidentiality or legal restrictions but may be available subject to approval.”
• “No datasets were generated or analyzed as part of this publication.”

The wording should accurately reflect the availability of the underlying information and any applicable conditions.
